Terms and Conditions

 

INTRODUCTION

 

The Artist is a person or entity that submits an entry form to the CONTEST, which requires acceptance of these Terms and Conditions to be processed by our website or Facebook Page.

 

The Organizer is La Belle Epoq Gallery. If you have any question, please contact us at info@labelleepoq.com or via our FB page messenger.

 

If we find necessary, we may include other sponsors, partners or supporters if so, any additions will be announced via our social media channels, our website or newsletter.

 

THE ARTIST

• There are no restrictions based on age, training, nationality or where you live.

• Organizers don’t want to disclose the Artists name, age, nationality during the Contest, not to bias, influence or advantage any participant.

• You must not already have exclusive representation.

• You can submit up to 6 different artworks, of any medium including paintings, mixed media.

•  You must be the owner of the submitted artworks and the work(s) submitted are of your own origination. You must hold all moral and intellectual property rights in the submitted artworks.

• The Artist agrees to allow The Organizers to share details from the entry form with our community, partners, supporters or sponsors.

• By submitting the digital entry form, you accept that if successful the selected artwork(s) may be suggested for Limited Edition Digital Prints to our Online Community through our Website with the commissions for the Artist that will be discussed individually. 

• If the Original Artwork (s) are also available, it can be presented for sale to our Online Community through our Website with the commissions for the Artist.

• For any artworks submitted to the competition, you are not restricted in selling it individually, exhibiting it or any similar activity. But we ask you that you notify us if it is sold or changes ownership or changes in any way.

• Once registered for this competition, all Artists agree that we, The Organizer, may reproduce the Artists' work for purposes of marketing, promotion, discussion and education, in media including catalogues and publications, posters, postcards, websites and social media and on television. The Organizer also reserves the right to reproduce selected images for non–commercial purposes, for example in the Winners page of the FB Page, website and catalogues, indefinitely, as a public record. 

• The Artist agrees to be placed on The Organizer’s mailing lists for our email newsletters and any other information that we may send you and grant full permission in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. The Artist reserves the right to opt-out of this at any time.

• The Artist agrees to have their application shared with the Judging Panel members, our online community and any other relevant party.

 

THE ENTRY

• A maximum of 6 artworks per Artist may be entered into the competition.

• As we described earlier Organizers don’t want to disclose the Artists name, age, nationality during the Contest, not to bias, influence or advantage any participant. A unique abbreviation representing the Artist will be generated with the consent of the Artist.

• This Abbreviation will be presented to our Judging Panel and later to our Online Community.

• The image submitted must accurately portray the artwork.

• The image(s) and the completed entry form(s) must be submitted online, using the submission form on our website through email or our FB Messenger.

• The Judging Panel may change at any time and will be updated on the website within a week of any changes.

• Accepted media include but are not limited to: paintings, drawings, original prints, photography, digitally produced artworks, mixed-media constructions.

• Artwork must, if qualified and available for physical sale through our Gallery, be the same work previously submitted as a digital image.

• For image files, please ensure they are at under 50Mb in size and at least 2000 x 2000 pixels in size. We prefer JPEG, but any standard image file format is accepted. If you can't check pixel size, then please try to ensure the file size is at least 1Mb in size for JPEGs. Feel free to email us with any questions on this.

• The contest debuts November the 14th and finishes on December the 14th. 

 

QUALIFYING STAGE

 

1. Stage – Artworks are received through the channels here: info@labelleepoq.com or FB messenger m.me/LaBelleEpoq

2. Stage – A Judging Panel, constituted with Art Professionals and some of the most active members of La Belle Epoq Online Community will review their artworks.

 

The qualifying period starts November the 14th and finishes on November the 29th.

 

POLL STAGE

 

3 Stage – Selected artworks are submitted to daily votes or polls to all of the online community through Contest posts, as described earlier, no name of the artists will be disclosed but an abbreviation of their name surname initials (or another combination asked by the artist) thus there are fair votes based only on the beauty of the artworks and our community votes.

 

The poll stage starts November the 30th and finishes December the 12

 

RESULTS

 

4 Stage – Two most popular artists are the winners, by popular we mean the greatest number of overall likes on 6 of their artworks since the beginning of the polls. If there are stall like results, we will do surveys to determine which one is the winner. Only votes/likes on our FB page special posts are counted.

 

Each of 2 Winners gets a box of high-quality professional materials for 500 euros: 20 square meters museum class canvas, fine art oil paints Van Gogh de Talens - 150 ml X 15, 60 ml X 30, 5 X 5 sets of Professional Brushes da Vinci

 

AFTERWARDS

 

5 Stage – along with the winners we decide to collaborate on a long term after the end of the contest, Artists become a part of our exclusive gallery artists. We guide, encourage and support them allowing them to thrive and to create new awesome artworks for our growing Online Community and get commissions from Artwork or Print sales.

 

 If during any stage there are any issues, please contact us via email specifying the email and full name you used in the entry form, along with full details of the issues. We will endeavour to respond within 3 days.
